Walter Wainwright 1866-____

Except for the 1881 Census date shown below, which indicated that he was born in 1866 in Thurlstone, the son of George Wainwright and Ann, we do not yet have further documentation of the birth of Walter. Only census information was found at the IGI site,

One reference to a Walter Wilfred Wainwright, baptized Sept. 8, 1868 at Bordesley, Warwick, England, with Father George Wainwright and Mother Ann, was found, but it does not seem likely that this is the same Walter.

The 1881 Census indicated that he was 15 years old at that time, that his occupation was "Assistant Joiner" [carpenter?], and that he was living at "Bank" [Bankhouse].
