Baptism of Albert:

Based upon 1881 Census records, Albert, son of John Wainwright and Sarah [Ibberson] Wainwright is believed to have been born in 1871.
He was probably baptized in the "Netherfield Independant or Congregational" Church in Thurlstone, where his parents were married.
A copy of the church record book is not available yet.
No IGI record was found.

The 1881 Census indicates that he was 10 years old on his previous birthday, that he was living at Prospect House in Thurlstone, and that he was a Scholar.

Netherfield Chapel Graveyard - Picture 0006 This is possibly Albert's gravestone, at the Netherfield Independent Chapel in Thurlstone. Only part of it is visible, since it seems to have sunk into the soil.

Albert is reported to have a stonemason and carved the headstone for his older brother, Smith, who died at the age of 33. 24
