Baptism of daughter Martha:

The 12th entry, the Baptized at Denby" section of Page 254 of the "Baptisms, Marriages, Burials 1633-1733" record book of the Penistone church, documents the baptism of Martha, daughter of Thomas Wainwright, of Dykeside. at Denby on December 1, 1717.

Early Burial of daughter Martha:

The 3rd entry in the "Burials, Denby 1728" section on Page 296 of the "Baptisms, Marriages, Burials 1717-1828" record book of the Penistone church, documents the burial of Martha, daughter of Harriet Wainwright, of Dykeside. at Denby on November 17, 1728.

Since Harriet's name is recorded, rather than Thomas'. it appears that Thomas died before Martha.
