The Trainz 3rd Party Content Creation and Distribution Guidelines for SP3

Every content object in Trainz, whether provided by Auran or through them by other developers, has a "KUID" number. If you download a layout developed by someone else, the actual objects in the layout don't come with it. If they are ones that came with Trainz, they are already on your hard drive. If not, when you load the layout, you will get a list of missing objects and their KUID numbers, so that you can download them from Auran or from a site specified by the developer. Photo Modeler Lite® is a free program to develop 3D models from digital pictures of the object to be modeled.
