Configuring TRS2004

If you experience problems with Trainz not running smoothly, it may be because your graphics board is not as fast as you might like. Adjusting some of these options may ease the processing requirements identified in the tabs of this screen.

Launching TRS2004

Railyard®

The "Railyard" screen displays the locomotives and rolling stock that you may use in your layouts.

Driver® - Driving a Train
Control the operations of your model railroad. Within the Driver module, simply choose from the engineer's view and use the 3D in-cab controls, or "train-spotter" view and use the virtual DCC controller.

Scenarios ® - Driving a Train with a Specific Assignment
Scenarios are scripted driver assignments for a Trainz layout.
You drive the assigned train according to the assignment, and you are graded based on how well you complete it.
You may also write your own scripts to develop scenarios for other layouts.

Content Creation - 3rd Party Additions
Trainz allows you to add new custom content such as locomotives, rolling stock, scenery, track-side objects and even track, bridges and tunnels.
