The following is a list of men whose residence is listed as CHAPLIN in Record of Service of Connecticut Men in the Army and Navy of the United States During the War of the Rebellion. Hartford: Case, Lockwood, & Brainard, 1889.  This list may include names fromseparate lists in the above source labeled as Men serving in the RegularArmy andMen Serving in the Navy as well as the individual InfantryRegiment lists from that periodThis list is by no meansall inclusive, of the thousands of names listed, many entries list thetown of residence as "Connecticut."
