Death of H. A. Badeau
Harry A Badeau died at his home at Atkins Siding,
near Crandon, on Sunday, Feb. 12. He was sick only a few days with
pneumonia. The deceased was sixty four years of age and made his home in
this city for many years. About four or five years ago he moved to Crandon
and last year moved to a farm near Atkins. Besides a widow he leaves six
children, Ernest of this city, Mrs. Ole Stevens of Crandon, Mrs. T. O.
Bartlett of Winten, Minn., Hallie, Lorenzo and Isabelle who are at home.
The remains were brought here on Friday afternoon and taken to the house
of his son Ernest and the funeral was held at the home on Saturday
afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Slater officiating. W. H. Garfield had
charge of the remains here. Mrs. B. B. Huntington and son Chauncey of
Oshkosh were here to attend the funeral.

Former Resident Buried Here
The remains of Harry Badeau, who died at Adkins, last
week, were brought here last Friday and funeral services were held
Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the residence of Ernest Badeau,
Rev. Slater officiating. Undertaker W. H. Garfield had charge of the
funeral and internment was made in Woodlawn cemetery.
Mr. Badeau was a former resident of this city, and
lived here many years, having moved to Adkins, but a few years ago. He has
many friends in this city. Those from out of town who attended the funeral
were sons Allie, Lorenzo and Warren and daughter Isabel of Adkins, Mrs. T.
O. Bartlet of Winten, Minn., and Mrs. Ole Severson of Crandon, also
daughters.

the Potomac, as escort till June, 1865. History Army of the Potomac.
Mustered out June 13, 1865, and honorably discharged from service.
Company lost during service 10 by disease.
