Death of Henry Lookaround
The
death of Henry Lookaround of Keshena, a well known Menominee Indian,
will be regretted by a large circle of friends that include not only the
members of his tribe but many of the best citizens of Shawano. Mr.
Lookaround was a truly good Indian with no bad habits and his life
conformed to a moral code that entitled him to the sincere respect of
all who knew him.
He was
62 years of age, a veteran of the Civil War and a member of the Keshena
G. A. R. post. His death occurred Monday and was due to tuberculosis.
He is
survived by his wife and five children; Peter, Jerome and Gust and Mrs.
Jams Tourtillott and Mrs. J E Adams.
The
funeral service was at Keshena yesterday.
