LaRoche, Norbert, an aged veteran of the Civil War was found in his home in Keshena on Sunday. The local authorities were notified and attorney Bold came to Keshena to investigate. Doctor Bartlow from here and Doctor Nelson from Keshena determined  that the death of LaRoche was caused by a heart attack and other complications. LaRoche was about seventy years old and lived as a hermit. He was of Company G 17th Wis. Volunteers and was on a pension.

LaRoche, Alb. was found dead from a heart attack and was buried on Monday on the Reservation.

Albert La Roche, a Frenchman and an old soldier living at Keshena, was found dead at his home on Sunday. An inquest was held and it was found that he died of heart failure.
