Henry Mellott, a Menominee Indian, died at Keshena on Saturday last and the funeral was held Tuesday morning at the Catholic Church. The deceased was 71 years of age and was a member of Co I, 16th Wis Inf.

Word was received here Saturday, of the death of H. Mellott of Keshena. The deceased had been in poor health for some time, when death came and relieved his suffering.
