Death of Indian
Nah-pon-na-quagin, more familiarly known as Woodchuck
John, died at his home in the Menominee reservation last week, at the
age of seventy years. The funeral and interment were from the West
Branch Catholic church. The deceased was an Indian of wide acquaintance.
He leaves one daughter Mrs. Tom Tomah.
