John Heipe

Died at Kaukauna Sunday Morning

Word was received here Sun of the death of John Heipe, who died at the home of his parents Sunday morning, in Kaukauna, after being sick a week with pneumonia.  About a year he has been one of the machine tenders at the paper mill, and a week ago was not feeling well and went to Kaukauna to visit his parents.  He was taken worse a day or so after he arrived there and gradually failed until he passed away.  He was about 28 years of age and was a good workman.  He came here from Kaukauna where he lived for some years and also lived in Appleton, where his wife’s relatives live.  The funeral was held this morning in Appleton.  He was well known in this city by those who worked at the paper mill, all regret very much to learn of his sudden death.
