Frederick Hoernke

 

  Fred Hoernke, 70 years old, died yesterday morning at his home in the Town of Herman. He has been a resident of this community since he was one year old.

 

Mr. Hoernke was born February 1, 1877 in Milwaukee, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoernke. He came with his parents to Red River in 1878. He grew up in that community and was married September 25, 1907, to Lena Ruhbusch, who survives him at this time.

 

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Viola, Mrs. Charles Moede, town of Richmond: Two sons, Earl of Menasha and Elmer at home; six grandchildren and one brother, William of the Town of Herman. Two brothers and three sisters proceeded him in death.

 

 Funeral services will be held Tuesday at the Karth funeral home in charge of the Rev. Stoehr. The body will be held in state at the Karth funeral home from Sunday noon until the hour of the services. Interment will be made in Woodlawn cemetery, Shawano.
