Claude W Ferry Telephone Mgr Dies at Marion

Claude William Ferry, 78, manager of the Marion Telephone Exchange, died at Clintonville on Monday. He had been ill for about a week.

Mr. Ferry was born August 31, 1881 at Oconomowoc and on November 28 1908 married Ethel Martin at Green Bay. Mr. Ferry was a veteran of the Spanish American War.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Uttermark Funeral Home, Marion. The Rev. Martin Baker of the Methodist Church will officiate and there will be a spring burial in Greenleaf cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the Uttermark Funeral Home tonight and up to the the time of the service.

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Dale and Walter of Marion, and two daughters, Doris, Los Angeles, California and Claudia, Mrs. Karcheski, Hartford. Other survivors are two brothers, Roy, Milwaukee and Ralph, Oconomowoc and three sisters, Alma, Mrs. Harold Rhode, Wauwatosa; Bessie and Lovice, Mrs. Grant of Milwaukee.
