Rudolph Herman, Leopolis, died last Friday in Milwaukee, Aug 31. He was buried at Tigerton Sep 3, 1904.

Rudolph Hermann expired August 30

Had been ill for two years

Funeral services for Rudolph Hermann, former Leopolis resident and brother of Fred Hermann, Tigerton were held from the J.C. Rupenthal funeral home Tuesday, September 3. Rev Stubbenthal of Caroline read the services. Internment took place in Union Cemetery, Tigerton, the following were pallbearers; James Biehm, Jacob Klement. Wm Reetz, Joe Aschenbrenner, Wlater Getchow and Wm Gehrman.

Besides the wife, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Adolph Kunz of Shawano, route 2; one brother and a sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hermann, Tigerton; and two sisters. Mrs. Nick Perrar, Birnamwood, and Mrs. Otilla Berkholz of Appleton.

Out of town attendants at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. August Hermann, Shawano, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Berkholz, Wausau; Mrs. James Seralis, Wisconsin Rapids and Mr. Frank Berkholz, Appleton.

Mr. Herman was born in Germany in 1876 and had attained the age of 64 years at the time of his death. He came to this country in 1893 and made his home in Tigerton. He lived here many years and moved to Leopolis only nine years ago. He was by trade a blacksmith. Serious illness had made confinement at the Veteran's hospital necessary.

In 1901 he married Lillie Rupenthal who survives him. He was a member of the Leopolis Lutheran church.
