Frank Woods, 82, Dies Early Today

Frank L Woods, 82, died at 3:25 a.m. this morning at his home in the town of Wescott.

Mr. Woods was born at Kaukauna, Wisconsin on January 19, 1874, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woods. He was the oldest of thirteen children who have since passed away.

A veteran of the Spanish War, Mr. Woods enlisted at Mammoth Springs, Arkansas in 1898.

On February 22, 1905 he was married to the former Tena Nelson at Crandon, Wisconsin and she survives along with one son, Roy of Shawano. There are eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

He was a farmer in the town of Wescott for many years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Scweers Funeral Home in Shawano with Rev W. E. Williamson officiating. Military rites will be held at graveside at the Lake Drive Cemetery in the town of Wescott.

Friends may call at the funeral home from Friday noon until the time of the services.
