In the name of god amen in the yere of our Lord God 1567 the xxiij day of January I Hugh Flock
of Dearhurst Walton in the pishe of Derehurst & in the countye of Gloucr husbandman
in body nevertheless pfect in mynd & memorie thankes be to almyghtye god do make
my testament & Last wyll in manr & form folowyng fyrst I commend my soule
into the hands of almyghtye god my maker & redemer & my bodye I commend
to be buryed in the churcheyard of Norton. And as touchyng the distribution of my
worldly goods furst I geve to the mother churche iiijd Itm I geve to J………..
one bushell of barley Itm I geve to Marget Walker halfe a bushell of ……..
Itm I geve to John Gase on bushell of barley And alsoe to ………….
halff a bushell of barley Itm I geve to the poore of Dearhurst Town iij bushells
of wheat to be geven where most ned shalbe Itm I geve to Joan Church whom should
have ben my wyff one ox which was her husbands Thomas Churches charged, my whit
ambling mare & alsoe ij stow piggs which are in her custodye & kepyng Itm I
geve to the same Joan my beste payer of charson shitts, my best towell & alsoe my
meatcloth. It I geve the same Joan ij barrell ij yoxe ij strongs & alsoe iiij yengs[?]
Itm I geve to the same Joan Church the iiij part of my crope of corne & halfe part
of my grasse & heye, my dongwayn wth Iron Bond whell and alsoe all my stak in
the goods wch Thomas Church left here if any stake I have therin Itm I geve on
fowrth part of my corne to my brother Edmonds children, to my brother Antonyes Flocks
chyldren, to Lawrance Coocks chyldren and also to brother Wyllyam to be divided into iiij parts by equale portions, betwen them. Itm all my goods which is pchased
for my occupyng to Joan Church all the rest of my goods my deats, legacyes being payd I
geve to Edmond Flock & Wyllm Flock my brothers whom I make my executors of all my goods moveable & unmoveable & the overseers of the executors thereof
I wyll & desyer my beloved brother Antony Flock & also my brother in law
