James Flooke of Deerhurst, husbandman

 

Memorandum that the xiiij daie of Auguste in the yeare of our lorde god [one]
thowsande five hundred mynetie three, James Flooke of the prishe of Deer[hurst]
in the countie of Gloucsetr husbandman being of goode and prfecte remembrance
did make his last wille and testamente nuncupative as followthe. Impms be[ing]
asked who showlde have his the saide James Flookes goods, he answered and s[aid]
O do geave them all to Elisabethe Flooke mie wife. Item being asked also
what he wold geave …ie else to anie other, he answered and aide I geave
to the poore of the prishe one halfe of the coc… of barlie that stode in the
...... of sande cloasing and ……inge nexte to the gate.  Item he saide that he
did make Wm Haynes to be the ovrseer of this his last wille nuncupative.
