John Fluck of Stapleton, Cole Miner

 

In the name of God Amen.  The tenth day of September in ye year of our Lord God one Thousand Seven hundred and foure I John Fluck of the parish of Stapleton in the County of Gloucester Cole Miner being of perfect mind and memory (thanks be given unto God) therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die do make and ordaine this my last will and Testament, That is to say, principally and first of all I give and recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body I recommend it to the earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my Executors nothing doubting but that at the general Resurrection I shall receive the same againe by the mighty power of God And as touching such worldy Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give devise and dispose of the same in the following mañer and forme

 

Imprimis I give and bequeath to my dearly beloved wife Hester Fluk one part of the cottage I now dwell in that is the fore Room during her life Provided also that the said Hester Fluk remaine a Widdow untill dureinge her life if the said Hester Fluk should happen to marry againe then that part of the Cottage shall remaine to my son John Fluk Item I give to my son Henry Fluk that part of the Cottage he now dwelleth in yielding dureing his life yielding and paying acknowledgment to my son John Fluk, but that after the decease of my son Henry Fluk then that part of the Cottage he now dwelleth in remaine do my son John Fluk, Item I give unto my son William Fluk one shilling, Item I give into my daughter Susannah Flide one shilling Item I give unto my son John Fluk whom I likewise constitute make and ordaine my only and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament I give the Juner part of my house I now dwell in together with all my moveable houshold goods and moveables within doors & without, And I hereby bequeath ratifie & confirm this & no other to be my last Will & Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seale ye day & year above written
