Robert Flux of Ampney Crucis, yeoman

 

I Robert Flux of Ampney Crucis in the County of Gloucester Yeoman being of sound and disposed Mind Memory and Understanding do make this my last Will and Testament in Manner following (that is to say)

 

I Give Devise and Bequeath All that my house in which I now dwell in Ampney Crucis aforesaid with he Buildings Lands and premises thereto belonging and therewith Occupied and enjoyed with all the household Furniture therein / Except such Articles thereof as are herein after be my bequeathed And an Inventory of which Furniture I direct my Trustees Herein after Named to take down in writeing immediately Upon my Decease and all other my real and personal Estate Whatsoever and wheresoever Subject to the payment of My Just debts Funeral expences and the Legacies by me herein after Given and bequeathed / Unto Thomas Page of Calmden in the parish of North Cerney Yeoman and David Dickman of Ampney Crucis aforesaid Shoemaker their heirs Administrators Upon Trust herein after Mentioned expresed And declared of and concerning the same Upon Trust to permit and suffer My Nephew Robert Flux son of My Nephew Richard Flux Now living at Owen in the parish of Kemble and his assigns to have use and occupy my said house and premises with the household furniture therein and all my real and personal estate but if the said Richard Flux should happen to die before he attains the age of Twenty one Years then I give Devise and bequeath my said house premises and Furniture and all Other my Real and Personal Estate Whatsoever as aforesaid Unto the second Son of My said Nephew Richard Flux His heirs and Administrators Absolutely For Ever And further My will is that my Trustees receive and take the Rents Issues Profits of the said house and premises and preserve the Furniture therein as Aforesaid and all Other my said real and personal Estate And pay and Aply the same for and towards the Maintenance Education and puting Out in the world of the said Robert Flux Untill he shall attain the Age of twenty one Years then to enjoy it his heirs Executors Administrators For Ever

 

I Give to John Page Son of My said Trustee Thomas Page the several Articles of household Furniture Following that is to say one large Brass boiler one smaller Brass boiler, One Brass Kettle One Armed Great Chair One large Coffer and Close Stool – I Give to Mary Page Daughter of the said Thomas Page One Feather bed Bedstead Curtains and Vallenc with three blankets one pair of sheets and one quilt – I Give to Sarah Page Another Daughter of the said Thomas Page One Chest of Drawers Four Chairs painted Red One Tea Table One large oak table

 

I Give to Hester Timbrell the widow of William Timbrell late of Kemble deceased the sum of five pounds To my niece Mary Darby wife of Thomas Darby of Kemble aforesaid the sum of five pounds – To my nephew Thomas Flux Son of my brother William Flux five pounds

 

Provided and it is My will that they My said Trustees Shall and May in the first place by and out of the said trust Estates reimburse themselves respectively all Costs and Expences attending the Execution of the said trusts and that they shall Not be answerable or Accountable for more Monies Or effectts than they shall Actually receive which shall come to Their hands by virtue of the trusts her by in them reposed And I do hereby Give to my Said Trustee Thomas Page the Money that I deposited in his hands as a Recompense For the Trouble he Have in the execution of the Trusts of this my Will And to the said David Dickman I Give the sum of one Guinea as a Recompense for the like Trouble

 

And lastly I do Hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint he said Thomas Page and David Dickman Joint Executors of this My will by me At any time heretofore made and Declaring This only to be my last Will and testament In Witness whereof I have Hereunto set My hand and seal this Twenty seventh day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Ninety one

 

Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the said Testator as and For his Last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and Att his Request have set our Names as Witnesses Thereunto

 

Probate granted at Gloucester 11 April 1792.
