Thomas Fluck of Hampton Bishop, Herefordshire, Gentleman

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Fluck of Hampton Bishop in the County of Hereford Gentleman I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Henry Fluck of the City of Hereford Confectioner the sum of Three hundred pounds to be paid him or his Executors Administrators or Assigns at the end of twelve months after the decease of my wife Mary to whom I give the use of the said money during her life Also I give and bequeath unto Mary Rudge daughter of William Rudge of Aston Ingham the sum of Forty pounds payable at the end of twelve months after my said wife’s decease As to all the rest and residue of my Personal Estate of every sort and kind I give and bequeath the same unto my said wife Mary To hold to her, her Executors Administrators and Assigns to and for her own free use and benefit Subject nevertheless to the payment of the sum of twenty pounds per annum to my Nephew William Fluck for the term of his natural life to begin after the end of twelve months from my decease And in case the said William Fluck shall happen to survive my said wife Then I give and bequeath to him and his Assigns the sum of four hundred pounds to be paid out of said Personal Estate so left to my said wife as aforesaid And I hereby charge my said Personal Estate with the payment of my just Debts and Funeral and testamentary Expences and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament of which I appoint my said wife Mary sole Executrix In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament hereunto set my hand and seal the ninth day of September one thousand eight hundred and twenty two –Thomas Fluck – Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator Thomas Fluck as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses – James Lane Hampton Bishop – Theo Lane of Hereford Atty

 

A Codicil to be added to and taken as part of the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Fluck of the Parish of Bullingham in the County of Hereford gentleman formerly of Hampton Bishop Whereas I have lately purchased of Mr Thomas Tully a Messuage or Tenement Yard Stable and other Premises situated in the Hightown in the City of Hereford Now I do hereby give and devise the same Premises To my dear wife Mary To hold to her her heirs and assigns for ever And I do in every other respect confirm my said Will before made (bearing date the ninth day of September one thousand eight hundred and twenty two) and do declare this to be a Codicil to my said Will In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this second day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five – Thomas Fluck – Signed sealed pronounced and declared by the said Thomas Fluck the Testator as and for a Codicil to his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence at his request in his sight and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses – Richard Prince – Wm Pugh – Theo Lane Atty Hereford

 

This Will with a Codicil annexed was Proved at Hereford 14th Feby 1826 before the Venble and Revd Robt James Carr D.D. Dean of the Cathedral Church of Hereford by the Oath of Mary Fluck the Sole Executrix within named / To whom etc

Will and Codicil of Thomas Fluck late of the Parish of Saint Martin in the County & Deanery of Hereford deced was proved by Mary Fluck the widow and sole Executrix Sworn before the Surrogate aforesaid
