William Fluck of the Parish of Stepney in the County of Middx Victualler

 

In the Name of God Amen I William Fluck of the Parish of Stepney in the County of Middx Victualler being in reasonable good health of body and sound and perfect mind memory and understanding (praised be Almighty God) but considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time there of do therefore make and declare my last Will and testament in manner and form following (Viz) First and principally I commend my soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping and assuredly believing by and through the Merits Death and Passion of my only saviour Jesus Christ to obtain full pardon and free remission of all my sins and to inherit Eternal Life my Body I commit to the Earth in hopes of a joyful Resurrection to be decently buried at the discretion of my beloved Wife and Executrix hereinafter named And as touching such Temporal Estate as God of infinite Mercy hath been pleased to bless me with I give despise bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth Viz Imprimis I will order direct and appoint that all such just Debts as I shall owe at my decease together with my Funeral charges shall be fully paid and satisfied Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother John Fluck one shilling (if demanded) and no more The rest residue and remainder of such sum and sums of money Lands Tenements Goods Chattells and Estate whatsoever or wheresoever as shall be due owing and belonging unto me at the time of my I do give devise and bequeath the same unto my beloved wife Catherine Fluck and her Assigns for ever according to my right and Interest therein And I make name and appoint my said beloved wife Catherine Fluck Executrix of this my Will and lastly I do hereby revoke disaņul and make void all former Wills Bequests and Legacies by me at any time heretofore made bequeathed or given And do make and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof to this my said Will I the said William Fluck the Testator have hereunto sett my hand and seal the Fifth day of November Anno Doni 1722 Annoq Regniae Regis Georgii Magnae Britaņia &c nono – Wm Fluck – Signed sealed published declared and delivered by the said William Fluck the Testator for and as his last Will and testament in the presence of us who subscribed our names in his presence – the Mark of Thomas Heneage at the Rose and Crown in Church Lane R: Symonds Notary Publick at Marine Square
