1639 I Henrie Hatton of Forthampton beinge sicke of Bodye but of perfecte
memorie doe make and ordayne this my laste will & testamente in maner
and forme followinge
Imp: I give and bequeath unto Nicolas Hatton my sone the some of tenn pownds It: I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Hatton my Eldest daughter the some of five pownds and my best cheste after the death of my wife I give and bequeath unto Jone Hatton my daughter the some of five pownds and my beste coffer after my wives dissease my will is if anie of my children die before the come to age and unmarried that then theyr portion be equally devided amongste the reste Item all the reste of my estate and goods movable and unmovable whatsoever I give unto Edward Alcoke the Elder and Edward Alcoke the yonger and John Hatton of paus: whome I doe make and apoynte my Executors not with anie Inetereste or purpose they shall make anie private gayne unto them selves but my chilldrens portions beinge payd and my debts and other charges they shall at in managinge anie of the estate and puiding for the chilldren and all other charges by mee alowed my will is that all the reste of my estate shall come unto Alice my wife for hir mayntaynance allsoe I give unto Alice my wif all the meate and corne in the howse and all the ward about the howse at the time of my dissease and all the pte of my warde growinge upon the pmises Henrie Hatton (X) his marke Wittnes Richard Cheston John Hutton Probate granted at Gloucester 20 March 1639/40 |
