John Hatton 1670 John Hatton Senior of Forthampton, yeoman
 
In the name of God Amen I John Hatton Senior of Forthampton in the County of Gloucester yeoman being sicke in body butt in perfect memory Blessed bee God doe make & ordaine this my last will & testament in manner & forme following (viz)
Imprimis I Give & bequeath my soule to Allmightie God my maker & Redeemer & my Body to the earth to be buried in decent buriall according the disrestion of my Executrix hearafter nominated
Item I Give to my Eldest sonn John all my wearing apparell
Item I Give to my Daughter Joane the some of tenn shillings to bee paid unto her when shee Comes to the age of eighteene years old.
Item I Give unto my other three Daughters (viz) Ann Elizabeth & Mary the like some of tenn shillings a peece to bee paid unto them when they Come to the ages affore menconned
Item I Give unto my three younger Sonns (viz) Thomas Phillip & Sammuell the some of tenn shillings a peece to bee paid each of them when they Come to the ages of twenty one
Item my will is thatt if any of my Children eyther one or more Chance to dye beefore they Come to the age affore mentioned then the portion or portions shall bee att the dispose of Executrix
Item my will is that all the Rest of my Goods moveable & unmoveable houses & lands & Rents whatsoever with the dead year ensuinge shall bee att the dispose of my wife Elizabeth whome I doe make & ordaine my sole Executrix of this my last will & testament requiring her to pay all those Legacies affore mentonned and all my debts accordinge to the severall times of payment
In witness hearof I have heareunto putt my hand & Seale this 13th of August 1658
