Samuel Hatton of Saint Martin in the Fields, Merchant

 

In the Name of God Amen I Samuel Hatton of the parish of Saint Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex Merchant do make my last Will and testament. First I resign my Soul to Almighty God and my body to the Earth and as to my Worldly Estate I dispose thereof as followeth.  I order all my Just debts to be paid and charge my Estate with Payment thereof and subject thereto I devise all my real and personal Estate of what nature soever unto Michael Hatton of Hampton in the said County of Middlesex Esquire his heirs Executors and Administrators Upon Trust to sell and dispose of the same with all convenient speed after my decease and the money arising by such Sale (after payment of my debts funeral expences and probate of this my Will and the Execution of the Trusts thereof) I give and devise to the Reverend Philip Hatton of Heydon in the County of Essex and Henry Hatton of Cornhill London (Apprentice to Mr Straw of Cornhill Apothecary) their Executors and Administrators to be equally divided between them share and share alike and I do hereby constitute the said Michael Hatton sole Executor of this my Will hereby revoking all former Wills and declare this to be my last Will. In Will whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal this twelfth day of April in the year of our Lord 1758 Samuel Hatton Sealed published and declared by the above named Samuel Hatton as and for his last Will in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request have subscribed our names as Witnesses (The Words “and of the Execution of the trusts thereof” being first interlined) J Palmer – James Coperthwaite – William Cottrell
