Welcome to my SOLOMON Family Database. This database was compiled from records collected by my mother. These records include the Solomon Family Bible, other family records and correspondence, Stillwell's Hist. and Gen. Misc. pertaining to the settlers of New Jersey, other early NJ histories, primary documents from various archives in the state of New Jersey, church and cemetery records, as well as LDS Archive records obtained in the 1970s. This information was carefully collected over a period of nearly twenty years, and is correct to the best of my knowledge. Numerous source citations were noted in the binder pages (and other stuff in the boxes) from which I compiled this material, but unfortunately my priority at the time was to enter the data, and go back later to enter all the source citations. I hope to do just that some time in the future. It's been over I year since I entered what's here in the database, so I thought I would post it anyway.
A North Carolina connection is under investigation. Did Jonas move to NC and change his name to Thomas Henderson? [Apparently, Yes!] Was Levi really a son of Peter? Comments are requested.
