Know all men by these presents, That I have
at(sic) transferred & conveyed all my (sic)
(sic) (sic) in & To a certificate Marked No 5?
which was granted to by the board of land Com
missioners January 19th A. D 1838 for one
League & labor of land unto John Box
for & in Consideration of One Thousand Dollars to
me in hand paid the receipt whereof is  hereby
acknowledged, to have & to hold the same to
him his heirs, administrators, or assigns,
against the Claim of my heirs executors
assigns or any other herein claiming
under or by me or through me _ The said certif-
icate is signed? by Stephen Box, John Nathan
& E Gossett County Commissioners, (sic)
& (sic) by C-fam ly (sic) or Clerks The day
& year (sic)ore (sic)    Signed Sealed
& Delivered at Crockett Houston County
this the 2nd of November A. D 1847
in the presence of

This is to certify that Swanson Yarbrough Senr
has appeared before us board of Land Commissioner
for the county of Houston and proved acording to
Law that he arrived in this Republic Feb 1832
                        and that he is a Married Man?
and entitled to an League and Labor of Land apon the consider
ation of paying at the Rate
                                            for Every Labor of Irrigalbe Land
                                            for Every Labor of Temporal Land
                                            for Every Labor of Arable Land
and for every Labor of (sic) pasture Land which may
be contained in the Survey secured to him by this
certificate this the 19 day of January        1838
