Note: Maud Carrico Russell's chart shows the decendants of Alexander Carrico & his "two" wives, but nothing further on any of the other children of James Carrico of Peter. As I breifly explained on the first page, Maud confused 3 different Alexander's as being the same man. None of the descendants listed were of James Carrico's son Alexander. She has included numerous descendants of both Alexander Carrico of MA who married Elizabeth Foster & the Alexander Carrico of MD who married Mary Sedgwick. I will list the two Alexander's on their own pages.

His Revolutionary War record reads "Alexander Carrico, alias Andrew served 1776-1780 in Capt. Billy Porter's Co. in Col. Tuppers Regiment at West Point in 1779. He was committed to Mill Prison,     Eng. 2-6-1782 being of the brig 'Eagle'. Records of Pension Dept. show he applied for pension in 1818 when 70 yrs. of age, then living at Beverly, Mass.  In 1820 his wife was still living, but the pension records do not show her name.     m. 1st Elizabeth FOSTER 8-28-1770 at Beverly. She b. 5-6-1749 dau. of Benjamin & Abigail (Herrick) Foster. She a descendant of George Herrick     m. 2d, probably, Miss SEDGWICK, of Virginia. Her descendants are Catholic except where otherwise noted.
