John Jr. was probably born in Wise or Montague County, Texas. He married his cousin Henrietta Douglass, his mother's niece. I met uncle John one time when he came to California for Uncle Luther's funeral. I could not discover much about John's family as evidenced by the list below where I cannot even discover the first names of my cousins, and have not been able to get any cooperation from descendants. What names I do have I found on headstones in Young and Jack Counties, Texas. One I found at Graham, seat of Young County. If anyone is able to assist with this I would be very appreciative.
