Peter LaRoux was born at Kingston, NY. I have been unable to discover exactly when Peter & Elizabeth married but they had at least 5 children that were listed as survivors when he died in 1783 in Frederick County, Virginia. They were Abraham, Jacob, Isaac, Elizabeth and Anna. (Sometime in the late 1700's the family began to spell the name; LaRue)
