He seems to have arrived in the U.S. sometime before 1875 in a third migration of Cassinghams. He settled in Providence, Rhode Island far away from the other Cassinghams who had settled in Ohio. Frank Albert Cassingham is also known as Albert Odian Cassingham. He is the son of Odian Cassingham and Harriet Dean. He was born about 1840 in Aldington, Ashford, Kent, England.
On 12 June 1875, he married Emma Warburton in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. She was born about December 1848 in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England.

- Lillian Emily Cassingham was born 17 April 1876 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island.
- Charles H. Cassingham was born 15 November 1877 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island. He died 25 August 1878 at age 9 months in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island.
- Rosabel Cassingham was born 4 December 1878 in Providence, Providence, Rhode Island.
