Irvin Elmer Zastrow is the son of Julia Isabel Cassingham and Herman Edward Zastrow. He was born 12 Aug 1900 in Portage, Columbia, Wisconsin and died 11 Oct 1958 at age 58 in Alna, Lincoln, Maine. He was buried 14 Oct 1958 at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, New Jersey.

On 17 Nov 1924, he married Catharine Sarah Elliott in Pardeeville, Columbia, Wisconsin. She is the daughter of Fred Elliott and Maud Colman. She was born 3 Jan 1903 in Pardeeville, Columbia, Wisconsin. She died 2 Dec 1992 at age 89 in the Leader Nursing Home, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She was buried 7 Dec 1992 at Fairview Cemetery, Westfield, New Jersey.
