Charles Wesley Cassingham was born 26 Mar 1863/1864 in Durham, Hancock, Illinois. Wesley, as he was sometimes called, is the son of Alexander Cassingham and Frances A. Wheeler. He died 20 Apr 1959 at about age 95. He is buried in the La Harpe Cemetery, La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.

  • On 2 Feb 1888, he married Durinda C. Atwater in Illinois. Rindy, as she was known, is the daughter of John J. Atwater and Mary Dunn. She was born 31 Jan 1869 in Illinois. She died 12 Mar 1931 at age 62. She is buried in the La Harpe Cemetery, La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.
  • Eight years after Durinda's death, on 29 Jan 1939, he married Ina Clarinda Goff. She is the daughter of Joseph Newton Goff and Priscilla Dark. She was born 8 Jun 1872/1873. She died 6 Mar 1949 at age 75 in La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois. She was buried 9 Mar 1949 in the La Harpe Cemetery, La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.

Durinda: Usually called Rindy, some sources list her name as Mirinda. But the 1880 Census [Durham, Hancock, IL. p. 98] clearly states: Durinda Atwaters (note the "s" on the last name).
