James Bradford Cassingham was born 15 Sep 1872 in Hancock County, Illinois. He is the son of James Austin Cassingham and Mary E. Higby. He died 30 Jan 1955 at the age of 82 in Los Angeles County, California.

In about 1897/1898, he married Nellie B. Pullen. She is the daughter of Joseph F. Pullen and Mary J. (unknown). She was born in Feb 1879 in Iowa.
