She died 16 Mar 1935 at the age of 62. She is buried at the La Harpe Cemetery, La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.

On 11 Dec 1895, she married Thomas Addison Griffin in Burnside, Hancock, Illinois. Ad, as he is known, is the son of Mathew Griffin and Margaret. His sister, Sarah, married Nancy's first cousin, Charles Wesley Butler. Thomas was born 8 Jun 1872 in Ohio and died 30 Aug 1941 at the age of 69. He is buried at the La Harpe Cemetery, La Harpe, Hancock, Illinois.
