John Gailen Cassingham is the son of Charles Cassingham and Sarina Rebecca Link. Gailen, as he was known, was born 26 Jul 1895 in Hopkins, Nodaway, Missouri and died 3 May 1971 at age 75 in Ontario, Malheur, Oregon. He was buried 7 May 1971 at Riverside Cemetery, Payette, Payette, Idaho.

On 2 Jul 1915, he married Henrietta Drown in Colby, Thomas, Kansas. She is the daughter of Luke Erastus Drown and Lucretia Adaline Plymale. She was born 14 May 1896 in Licking, Texas, Missouri and died 12 May 1986 -- two days short of her 90th birthday --  in Ontario, Malheur, Oregon. She was buried 16 May 1986 at Riverside Cemetery, Payette, Payette, Idaho.

   • In 1991, she married (3) Sidney Ashtin Griffin in Nevada. He was born in 1927 in Minnesota.

Henrietta's maiden name may be Drowns or even Brown (though the Oregon Death Index lists her name as Henrietta D. Cassingham).
