Emma Cassingham was born 12 Mar 1857 in Blandinsville, McDonough, Illinois or Disco, Hancock, Illinois. She is the daughter of George Benjamin Cassingham and Isabelle L. Loyd. She died 28 Sep 1933 at age 76 in Canton, Fulton, Illinois.

On 30 Mar 1879, she married Albert Lewis Brown (Sr.) in Hancock County, Illinois. He is the son of Simeon Brown and Hester Klein. He was born in Jun 1856 in Illinois. He died 26 Mar 1925 at age 68 in Putnam, Fulton, Illinois.
