Phoebe Sophia Linton was born 16 May 1853 in Franklin County, Ohio. She is the daughter of Elizabeth A. Cassingham and Dutton Linton. She died 23 Sep 1923 at the age of 70 in Monroe, Perry, Ohio.

On 3 Jan 1886, she married Joseph Henry McNally in Little Grant, Grant, Wisconsin. Joseph was born 8 Sep 1854/1857 either in Morgan County or Perry County, Ohio. He is the son of Daniel McNally and Elizabeth Dew. Joseph died in Wisconsin 29 Sep 1907 at the age of 53. Phoebe moved back to Ohio after his death.

4. Augusta Emma McNally was born 2 Sep 1892 in Wisconsin. She died Christmas Day, 25 Dec 1945, at the age of 53.
5. Charles Everett McNally was born 1 Apr 1894 in Lacrosse County, Wisconsin.
