Donald Leroy Logar is the son of Edith Lucille Cassingham and Frank Robert Logar. He was born 7 January 1937 in Longmont, Boulder, Colorado. He died 19 October 2011 at age 74. On 22 October 2011, he was buried at Fee Fee Cemetery, Bridgeton, St Louis, Missouri.

He married Patricia L. Kayser. She was born in 1936.
