In 1947, he married Merlyne Joann Kimball in Oklahoma. She was born in 1928.

3. Scott Alan Cassingham was born in 1955 in Oklahoma. In 1977, he married Dianna Grace Walker in California. She was born in 1958. She is the daughter of Ashford Martin Walker and Dorothea Ellen Bedinger. Scott was the second of her three marriages.
