On 31 Jul 1935/1936, she married Frank Evan Johnson in Manhattan, Riley, Kansas or McPherson County, Kansas. Evan, as he was known, is the son of Nels Johnson and Karolena Peterson. He was born 11 Oct 1897 in White City, Morris, Kansas. He worked in Kansas as a high school coach and administrator for 25 years. Also worked for the Veterans Administration in Wichita and Topeka, and sold insurance in Topeka and Manhattan, Kansas.
