Candace Amelia Barron is the daughter of Rachel Sophia Cassingham and Thomas McCrady Barron. She was born 20 May 1846 in Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio. She died 12 Apr 1924 at the age of 77 in Muskingum County, Ohio. She was buried 14 Apr 1924 at Dresden Cemetery, Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio. On 8 Mar 1864, she married her first cousin, Silas Dwight Kain. He is the son of William Kirk Kain and Jane Barron. He was born 30 August 1838 in Erie, Erie, Pennsylvania. On 22 Apr 1861, he enlisted as a private in Company K of the 16th Infantry Regiment of Ohio during the Civil War. He was mustered out on 18 Aug 1861. Silas was a shoemaker. He died 16 Mar 1910 at age 71 in Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio. He was buried 19 Mar 1910 at Dresden Cemetery, Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio. Children of Candace Amelia Barron and Silas Dwight Kain:
