Charles Dwight Kain (Jr.) is the son of Charles Dwight Kain (Sr.) and Eldora Sutter. He was born 4 Mar 1898 in Vanlue, Muskingum, Ohio. He died 21 Dec 1978 at age 80 in Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio and was buried there in the Dresden Cemetery.

On 7 Nov 1922, he married Laura Jeannette Moore. She is the daughter of James Allen Moore and Daisy Myrtle Lake. She was born 15 Jan 1903 near Fallsburg, Licking, Ohio. She died 8 May 1993 at age 90 in Dresden, Muskingum, Ohio and was buried in the Dresden Cemetery on 10 May 1993.

5. Eleanor Janette Kain was born in 1941.
