Marion Edgar Manwarren is the son of Maggie Cassingham and Byron George Manwarren. He was born 3 August 1889 in Lyons, Rice, Kansas. He died 31 March 1944 at age 54.

About 1917, he married Edith Ethel Cumbie. She is the daughter of John W. Cumbie and Alice A. (unknown). She was born 9 August 1901 in Texas. She died 17 December 1979 at age 78 in Santa Clara county, California.
