Marjorie E. Kain Marjorie E. Kain, 79, of Houcktown, passed away at 11:55 a.m. December 12, 2006 at Good Samaritan Center, Arlington. She was born April 2, 1927 in Findlay to the late Lester & Mildred (Haws) Leeper. She married Rolland D. "Don" Kain on October 17, 1947 in Greenup, KY and enjoyed 59 years of marriage. Surviving in addition to her husband, Don; are a son, Ken (Charlotte) Kain of Houcktown; two daughters, Caryl (Mike) Miller of Williamstown and JoAnn (Richard) Lauck of Houcktown; ten grandchildren, Kelli (Carl) Boone, Jodi Kain, Rollie (Michelle) Kain, Andrea (Brian) Kuenzli, Tami Hattery, Karrie (Nick) Kreinbrink, Heidi Miller, Andy Lauck, Greg Lauck, and Ashley Lauck; ten great-grandchildren; and a brother, William Leeper of Punta Gorda, FL. Mrs. Kain was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Leeper. Marjorie was a member of the Houcktown United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker and had been employed by Petries, DWG Cigar Factory and the Olive Plant in Findlay. Marjorie crocheted an afghan for each grandchild, loved camping and travel and was an avid reader. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 at CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Arlington with Rev. Harry Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Houcktown Cemetery, Jackson Township. Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Houcktown United Methodist Church or the Arlington Good Samaritan Center.
