A. E. SCHWARCK CONVOY - A. E. (Jack) Schwarck, 71, of Rt. 1, Convoy, was found dead at his home Monday afternoon with death occurring late Sunday according to Dr. W. C. Trapp, county coroner. Death was attributed to natural causes. Mr. Schwarck was a retired farmer and woolen mills napper. Born Dec. 3, 1895, in Mercer County, he was the son of John and Caroline (Stallbaum) Schwarck. He was married to the former Mabel Coates, who preceded him in death in 1946. Surviving are four sons, John of El Paso, Tex, Robert of Youngstown, Billy of Spencerville, and Joe of Dayton; five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Anna) McCollum of Kokomo, Ind., Mrs. Robert (Louise) Wertenberger of Rt. 1, Convoy, Mrs. Ray (Leona) McCollum of Van Wert, Mrs. W.. S. (Margaret) Patterson of Waco, Tex, and Mrs. Burton (Jean) Carrier of Rt. 1, Convoy; a brother, Edward Schwarck, of Jackson, Mich,; four sisters, Mrs. Berlin (Grace) Miller of Mendon, Mrs. William (Margaret) Hecker of Ann Arbor, Mich., Mrs. H. E. (Ilah) Byers of Hedley, and Mrs. Joseph (Violet) Graham of Celina; 33 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A daughter, a brother and three sisters are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at the H. D. Smith Funeral Home, Convoy, at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Otto Tinkey and the Rev. Eugene McCormick officiating. Burial will be in the Swamp College Cemetery, Celina. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7:30 p.m. today. |
