Thomas Starker III

Thomas Starker III, ("Tom") passed away on Friday, Sept. 28,2007 after a long, valiant battle with emphysema. He was the son of Thomas W. Starker II and Ruth Vickery Starker. He is survived by his wonderful and caring wife, Barbara Starker; children, Thomas Starker IV, Tamara Heller (Christopher), and Todd Starker (Sharla); brothers, Terry Sue and Timothy Starker; grandchildren, Lindsay and Nicholas Heller; Erik, Benjamin, and William Starker; mother-in-law, Dorothy Ebright; nieces and nephews; and his beloved award-winning 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra. Tom left behind scores of friends, including fellow members of the Mustang Club of Ohio. Tom was also a member of the Lewis Center United Methodist Church, and a 32nd degree Mason. The family will receive friends and family at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085 on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., where the funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 5,2007 at 10 a.m., with Pastor Lynette Decker officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends are encouraged to donate to the Central Ohio Breathing Association, 1520 Old Henderson Rd., Columbus, OH 43220, the Lewis Center United Methodist Church, 1081 Lewis Center Rd., Lewis Center, OH 43035, or a charity of their choice.
