Robert "Bobby" M. Cassingham

Robert "Bobby" M. Cassingham 38, of Indianapolis, IN passed away at 10:30am Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at his residence.. He was born April 16, 1971 to the late Robert J. Cassingham who preceded him in death, and Harriet Cassingham (Small) who survives. Bobby graduated from Kokomo High School in 1989, then graduated from Indiana University Kokomo in 1995 with a B.S. in education. He was employed at the L. Shop in Kokomo, then in 2004 went to the Hilton Indianapolis Downtown where he currently served as the Administrative Assistant for Sales and Catering. During his time at the Hilton, he received; Team Champion of the month in February 2005, February 2007, and July 2009. He was nominated multiple other times as well. Bobby also received the Hilton Spirit of Pride award 2005 (extraordinary service commitment to the guest and team), the Hilton Spirit of Success award, and the Active CARE Committee Member/Secretary. Bobby was a huge contributor at the Hilton in every aspect. He volunteered for multiple community activities, was always helping in each department, and would never tell you no, if you asked him for assistance of any kind.

Survivors include his mother Harriet Cassingham, two sisters; Cindy Lovegrove, husband David, Bobbette Fagel, husband Tom, a grandmother; Jean Cassingham, three nieces; Cassie Huddleston, husband Amos, Rachael Flager husband Derek, and Amy Lovegrove, two nephews; Tommy Fagel and Justin Fagel, one great-niece and one great-nephew, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father Robert J. Cassingham, Grandfather, James C. Cassingham, grandmother Irene Small and Grandfather Ora Small. He was also preceded by several Aunts and Uncles.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm - 4:00pm Monday, January 25, 2010 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel 3400 South Webster Street. The service will be at 4:00pm Monday at the Mortuary with Pastor Steve Beutler and Rev. William Allison officiating the service.
