Dale Leslie Sutton Obituary

Dale L. Sutton, M.D., 36, Naperville, died Saturday, March 17, 1990, at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fruland Funeral Home with the Rev. Dortha Russell officiating. Burial will be in Mazon Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Born Feb. 26, 1954 in Morris, he was a son of George A. and Charline (Hill) Sutton. Raised in the Verona area, he graduated from Mazon-Verona-Kinsman High School with the class of 1972.

In 1976 he graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign and in 1980 form the U of I Medical Center. In 1984 he completed his U of I ENT residency and became board certified from the American Academy of Otolaryngology in 1988. He became a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - head-neck surgery in 1988. He became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in 1989.

Surviving are his wife, Melody of Naperville; his parents of Verona; one brother, George A. (Lucy) Sutton, Jr. of Verona; three sisters, Judy Sutton of Joliet, Mrs. Hugh (Donna) Anderson of Macomb and Mrs. Brian (Patti) Little of Marion, Iowa; his grandmother, Mrs. Henry (Edna) Sutton of Mazon; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Carroll (Marjorie) Michalak of Carpentersville, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was a member of the Verona United Methodist Church.
