Arthur Dee Cassingham CASSINGHAM, Arthur Dee, born 5-10-1909 in Centralia, OK, to John R. & Myrtle (Martin) Cassingham, died 9-12-2003 in OK City at 94. A.D. came to OKC in 1914. He attended Webster Jr. High and Central Sr. High. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1942 and served with the SeaBees in Guadalcanal & New Guinea. After his discharge in 1945 he graduated from Blackwood-Davis Business College. He worked many years in paper-hanging & painting. He was a 32nd Deg. Mason, a Shriner, & a member of the Northwest Christian Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Aurora Mae Spalding & great niece Jamie Lynn Padgett. Survivors are his niece, Lynette Steverson, Anadarko, 2 great nephews, Larry Steverson, Tuttle; Scott Steverson, Anadarko; & great niece Sarah Laxton of Missouri, 12 great great nieces & nephews, & many cousins, including J.D. Guinn III of OK City. Graveside svcs. are at 2 PM, Wed., Sept 17, at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Steverson Funeral Home, Anadarko. |
